– needed to know what record was displayed at the top of a continuous form or sub-form
– wanted to re-query a form and reset it so that the selected record is in the same position within the continuous form or sub-form that it was in before the re-query

If so, check out this article. It updates some 20 year old code by the Access guru Stephen Lebans to be compatible with Access 2007/10/13/16/19 and O365 and adds conditional compilation so that it is compatible with both 32 and 64-bit Office.
